Ladakh, (UT), India
Ladakh is perhaps India's most dramatic landscape — a high-altitude desert at 3,500 m+, flanked by the Himalayas and Karakoram ranges. With its Buddhist monasteries, sapphire lakes, and lunar valleys, Ladakh is a bucket-list destination for motorcyclists, trekkers, and spiritual seekers.

Travel tips for Ladakh
Acclimatize for the first 24–48 hrs in Leh — do nothing strenuous. AMS (altitude sickness) is real and dangerous.
Inner Line Permits are required for Pangong, Nubra, and Tso Moriri — arrange through a travel agent in Leh.
Petrol stations are sparse on remote routes — always carry extra fuel.
Ladakhi food staples: thukpa (noodle soup), momos, tsampa, and butter tea — warming and calorie-rich.
Pack layers for all seasons — days can be 25°C and nights drop to -5°C even in July.
